Below, in no particular order, are a series of tributes in Edna's memory. If you knew Edna and would like to leave your thoughts, please feel free to leave a comment.
Tribute to Edna,
We mourn the sad loss of our wonderful president who passed away suddenly Christmas week.
She will be sadly missed by all who knew her, as her lively personality and sense of humour was
the way she lead us woman in all of the activities. Rest peacefully Edna

Edna’s energy and enthusiasm for her role as Chairwoman of the Older Women’s Network will not be easily matched. With her warmth and good humour she certainly led by example, encouraging women to challenge themselves and value their place in the world as they age. She will be missed her very much.

The person is a success…
Who has lived well, l
laughed often and loved much;
Who has gained the respect
of intelligent people
and the love of children;
Who has filled their niche
and accomplished their task;
Who leaves the world better
than they found it;
Who has never lacked appreciation
of earth's beauty
or failed to express it;
Who looked for the best in others
and gave the best they had.
Dear Edna was such a person

I always admired Edna for her friendliness, enthusiasm and energy. Shirley, Jean and I appreciated the support and encouragement she gave to us in the running of our Tai Chi classes. We will miss her very much indeed.

None of us who saw Edna those last few days before she died could have
foretold that it would be the last time we saw her. Edna was definitely a
"tour de force". She was passionately devoted to her family and friends
and totally committed to her work with OWN. Whether she was organizing a
festival (she loved festivals) or working with the writing group, she
relished and embraced her leadership roles. All those members who have
worked with and known Edna will have many memories of her and the lasting
legacy for many will be remembering her zest for life, boundless
enthusiasm, her love of writing, a lively sense of humour and the will to
give anything a go.
